The Goathouse Cat Refuge was founded by artist Siglinda Scarpa (www.siglindascarpa.com) as a safe haven for homeless cats. It is a refuge where cats can live in peaceful, cage-free comfort. All cats receive the care, high-quality food, individualized attention, and the love they deserve. Our cats live at the Refuge until adopted or, if need be, they may become permanent residents.

We are located in Chatham County, near Pittsboro, NC, on a beautiful 16 acre farm inhabited by cats, dogs, goats, guineas and turkeys. We love visitors, open daily.
