Katrina, Velma is the sweetest and prettiest calico you will ever meet but is a
bit of a scaredy cat. She is very playful, loves other four legged friends (cats
& dogs) but is a little nervous of the two legged types (other than the ones
she knows). She loves to lie in the sun and look out the window, when she is not
playing with her toy mice. She loves to be brushed and petted and will roll
around next to you versus sitting on your lap. Velma needs a quiet home, a
patient owner/ family, and has been an indoor cat in her foster home. She has
not shown any interest in going outside and the outside world may frighten this
timid girl.
For more information or to visit Velma, please contact Amy Vernon at 336-782-2059 or at Amy_Vernon@hotmail.com

"I am trying to help a client re-home a Siamese cat. His name is Sam and he has several medical issues, including morbid obesity, diabetes mellitus and blindness. His current owner is unable financially to address these issues, and I am concerned for the cat's quality of life. Do you have any room in your shelter or foster homes, or have any ideas on how to help this kitty? Sam is a neutered 8 year-old apple-head siamese mix."
email: drdavis@hillcreekvet.com for information on his medical condition (from his Vet) or call his owner: Sandy Butler at (919) 542-1960.
