Special Events/ Fundraising Description
SPECIAL EVENTS/ FUNDRAISING
Special Events volunteers work as a team to plan and coordinate events & fundraisers for the refuge.
Event Planning Volunteer responsibilities include:
- Brainstorming ideas for potential events/fundraisers
- Managing every detail of planned events, from concept through completion
- Soliciting prospective volunteers to assist with individual tasks associated with each event
- Distributing information and promoting awareness of upcoming events
- Gather feedback following events to help assess overall effectiveness
MONTHLY TIME COMMITMENT: 10 hrs/month (approx. 2 hrs/week)
