Adoption Application

Thank you for your interest in a Goathouse Refuge cat. Before you submit an adoption application, please make sure you are familiar with our Adoption Process. To expedite the process, please complete all fields on the application.
*Applicants must be at least 21 years old to apply.*

Potential adopters are strongly encouraged to visit the refuge and spend time with the cats. The refuge is open Saturday and Sundays from 11am-3pm and Fridays by appointment. After we receive your application, a staff member or volunteer will contact you for a virtual home visit. If you haven’t heard from us after 48 hours, please contact the Goathouse office to make sure we received your application. Our adoption fee is $125. Thank you!

Please note, kittens must be at least four months old before they are adopted. Kittens must be at least nine months old before they are adopted into homes with children under the age of six years. We also require kittens to be adopted in pairs until they are five months old, as they are very bonded to their siblings and kitten friends and can become quite depressed and stressed due to the separation.
