Dear friends and family,
Please accept my heartfelt apologies for this late note of gratitude to all of you who gave us the joy of being remembered with your thoughts, wishes and donations. Thank you for holding us in your hearts, being with us and helping!
Unnoticed, a gas heater in my bedroom was leaking gas, and made me very ill. My short-term memory is impaired, and I am still having a hard time with headaches and nausea. Even the kitties in my home were affected and we are watching them closely.
We also now have a new Office Manager who has just started and needs to learn the ins and outs of the Goathouse, not a joke, it is a complex job!
Please, know that you all are very important to us. We count on you to be able to care for all these adorable creatures who didn’t ask to be born, and then neglected, thrown in the streets or in kill shelters. They need love and care as we all do, you included. I hope that you know that I love you all for your big hearts!
One thing I wish that we could do, to write to each other more. With some of you we have found our way to communicate by email and keep each other up about our lives, ours, and yours.
I would love to know more about you, our donors, sustainers, the people who care about these wonderful feline creatures. We humans domesticated them. We made them our friends and emotional comfort. Now we must be responsible for them; they suffer just the same as we do.
