Rebecca was a petite young girl who was trapped with her two kittens in a dark, cold, and dangerous parking garage where she had been struggling to survive and keep her kittens fed. Rebecca had probably lived outside on the streets her whole life, and it took a while to persuade her to trust and love people. Rebecca is learning to enjoy human attention. She is still shy, but she would love to find a patient and loving home, especially with one or more other kitties to be her friends. Approx.

If interested in adopting from the Goathouse Refuge, please plan to take the following steps required in our adoption process:
1.Come for a Visit: We are open 11am - 3 PM Saturday and Sunday. Fridays are by appointment.
2. Complete our online application: Visit our website (click link above of go to www.goathouserefuge.org under the 'adopt' tab).
3. Home Visit: All adoption applications will be reviewed by the refuge staff, and if the applicant seems to be a good fit for the cat(s) of interest, the refuge will contact the interested party to set up a home visit. Only after a representative of the refuge conducts a home visit then consider continuing with the adoption process.
